hi, its me again this is my second blog about "Events and more about Tayabas". They have a Mayohan sa Tabayas, through a 10 day celebration, from May 6-15, the Tayabasanse is guided to honor the glory and bless the wounds and sacrifies of the past. Mayohan is a season for the Tayabasanses to converage at the mother navel of Quezon province.Mayohan opens on May 6 with a parade of baliskog and tao-tao. Baliskog is the Tayabas arch of welcome while tao-tao is the scarecrow that is commonly found in rice fields

Tayabas also have a Hagisan ng suman event on May 15, the farmer is a being of faith who knows that physical prowess is not enough to harvest the fruits of his labors. Mayohan gives tribute to San Isidro with a procession reminiscent of the yearly Quipo devotion to Jesus Nazareno.

This Mayohan sa Tayabas began in 1988 with writer and film director Orlando "Dandy" R. Nadres and then- Mayor Faustino "Dondi" A. Silang constructed the Mayohan as a vision for the social and cultural renewal of Tayabas.

Tayabas have a resolt like Nawawalang Paraiso and kamayan sa palaisdaan. kaya ano pa hinihintay ninyo punta na kayo sa bayan ng Tayabas.
